AN EXCELLENT 4-0 win against Hallow A saw the Bromsgrove C mixed team move into a promotion place in Division Three.
Stalwarts Joan McGregor and John Dudek had two straightforward wins, 6-4, 6-2 and 6-2, 6-1.
The pairing of Chris McGregor, with new member Ann Banner were not to be outdone and came away with a 6-2, 6-3 win against the Hallow first pair and won 6-1, 6-1 against the second.
It wasn’t such good news for the Men’s C team who went down away to a strong Boughton team 5-1.
Having been promoted last year, then losing their better players to the B squad, they have struggled all season and relegation seems inevitable. Tim Wright and Chris McGregor won their only rubber. In Division Eight, the E team lost 4-2 to Fladbury A.
