BMIBABY has revealed the amount of passengers flying out of Birmingham as resident rush to avoid Christmas at home.

Bmibaby is leading the getaway with soaring passenger figures for the festive holiday. Thousands are expected to take to the skies with bmibaby over the next three weeks.

The low cost airline is expecting to carry over 27,000 passengers in and out of Birmingham Airport between 19 December and 8 January 2012.
