The Caravan and Motorhome Show 2012 is being held next week and is set to be bigger ever.

The event will draw thousands of exhibitors, caravaners and fans of the open road to Manchester's EventCity from Thursday, January 19 until Sunday, January 22.

Previously held in Manchester Central, The Caravan and Motorhome Show 2012 show will run from 19 to 22 January and will be 50 per cent bigger than 2011 with over 200 exhibitors showcasing the latest caravan, motorhomes and accessories.

Exisiting exhibitors such as The Swift Group, Campbells Caravans and Glossop Caravans have been joined by newcomers including Kimberly Caravan Centre, the East Midland’s largest caravan outlet, Lowdham Leisureworld with their award winning Huddersfield and Nottingham branches and Willerby Holiday Homes, the UK's largest manufacturer of holiday homes and lodges.

The Caravan Club will also be returning to the show for the first time since 2008 which means experienced enthusiasts through to new-comers considering buying a caravan or motorhome for the first time can get expert advice and experience from The Caravan Club’s motorhome maneuvering trials.

Major manufacturers like Adria, Bailey, Coachman, Elddis, and Lunar will all have their latest models on show. A spokesman for the show said: "As always, the event is a perfect family day out with plenty to the keep the kids entertained. The Camping and Caravanning Club is running towing experiences and has partnered with children’s entertainment experts Gullivers, of Gullivers’ Kingdom, to host the KidZone – a dedicated area for kids to enjoy activities such as face painting, balloon modeling and a great surf simulator.

"The Caravan and Motorhome Show is also the perfect shopping destination for caravan and motorhome owners who are on the hunt for accessories. Leading accessory retailer Riversway Leisure for example will be exhibiting products including bike-racks, sat-navs and outdoor furniture. For those in search of holiday inspiration, the show is the perfect information hub with more campsites, holiday parks and destinations exhibiting than ever before, a Farmers Market and experts theatre, packed with informative talks on everything from touring abroad, cooking delicious recipes on the road to buying-used advice."
