Redditch band The Angry Bombs ready to explode
A ROCK band from Redditch have returned victorious from one of the biggest punk and alternative music festivals in the UK.
The Angry Bombs
The Angry Bombs, a three piece punk rock band, recently played Rebellion festival in Blackpool.
The band, only formed in October 2011, comprises Simon Trevitt, Stew Tyler and Chris Marshall.
Drummer Simon, 28, said: “The festival was a massive success. We had a great crowd and sold merch to about 25 or 30 per cent of the audience which was lucky because we completely sold out.
“No-one left the room and at times it seemed like everyone had a camera.
“Every song went down a storm and we are now itching to do it again next year, which we've been asked to do.”
The band, who have previously supported the Original Sham 69, currently have a six track EP available with a full length album in the making.
They will also be touring Germany and Belgium in April next year.
Simon added: “We see big things for the future and owe it all to our fans, The Angry Fans.”
