Review: Brink

Every so often a game comes along that sets out to reinvent a genre. Sometimes it succeeds and other times like a footballer’s botched efforts to conceal an extra-marital affair it fails. Brink falls somewhere between the two. Best described as a thinking man’s first person shooter, Brink takes the team based elements of Team Fortress and playability of Black Ops. Whilst it isn’t as instantly addictive as many other FPS, it is the definition of a grower.

Tomb Raider Trilogy to hit stores this March

It was announced today that The Tomb Raider Trilogy, exclusive for the Playstation 3, will be release on March 25 2011. This pack includes newly remastered versions of Tomb Raider Legend and Tomb Raider Anniversary, in addition to the previous released Tomb Raider Underworld. On top of this The Tomb Raider Trilogy pack exclusively boasts the official Lara Croft female Home avatar outfit, the Viking Thrall male Home avatar outfit and a collection of making of trailers in HD for the entire series.
