Lorraine is so caring
A SIDEMOOR woman has been awarded with the first ever Helping Hands Home Care Carer of The Year Award for Bromsgrove.
Lorraine Johns has worked for the Alcester-based home care provider for two years and emerged victorious by virtue of her hard work and regular recognition from her clients, colleagues and care manager.
Lorraine cares for people all over north Bromsgrove on a daily basis.

As a reward for her commitment she was presented with a cash prize and the inaugural trophy at an awards ceremony held at Alcester town hall.
Lorraine said: "This has come as a huge surprise. I never expected to win as I know that the standard of competition from my colleagues in Bromsgrove is so high."
Her manager, Jacqui Smith, said: "This is a richly deserved accolade. Lorraine is a credit to her profession. She always goes the extra mile and is thought of very highly both within the office and from the people that she calls upon."
