BROMSGROVE School's under-16 boys hockey team suffered a narrow defeat to Ipswich School in the Schools Championship national final in East Grinstead.

The boys reached the final after some exciting matches at the county and regional rounds.

Bromsgrove put on a strong performance in the final but had to settle for the runners-up spot after a 5-2 defeat.
