LEADING housebuilder Barratt West Midlands has donated £100 to the Neighbourhood Watch Scheme set up by residents at its Stourport waterside development at Waters Edge.

After receiving a letter from a member of the Waters Edge Residents Association Committee, managers at Barratt West Midlands decided to help the committee set up a scheme with a cash donation.

Valerie Hinton, the Watch ooordinator, said: “We now have over 30 homes that have joined and thanks to Barratt’s kind donation it is free to join and open to everyone at the development. The donation has also helped fund the purchase of lamppost signs.

Waters Edge is a major waterside regeneration which is helping to breathe new life into the Stourport's canal basin.

It offers a range of one-bedroom apartments priced from £116,950, two-bedroom apartments priced from £146,950 and three-bedroom houses priced at £185,950.
