The West Midlands branch of the Industrial Agents Society (IAS) have raised £2,500 for three charities at their annual IAS Summer Event.

Over 120 guests attended the event held at Bank restaurant in Brindleyplace, Birmingham organised in conjunction with Q Squared Design. The three charities supported by the event’s proceeds include Bloodwise, Diabetes UK and West Midlands Air Ambulance.

Colin Lawrence-Waterhouse, Vice-Chair of the West Midlands IAS and Associate at Cushman & Wakefield, said, “This is the second year we have run this format of event and the support we’ve received from both our members and industrial sector clients has been fantastic.

“The three charities we’ve supported all have a relevance to our members through either their personal experience or that of their families, so we found it very rewarding to raise this money, whilst increasing awareness amongst the profession”.

Sharon Quantrill, Account Executive at Q Squared Design, said: “It was fantastic to be involved to help raise money for three such worthy charities. The event was a great success with a good mixture of industrial agents and developers attending.

“My thanks go to our main sponsor Mucklow supported by Graftongate and Logicor. We were blessed with good weather so the branded sunglasses, mobile friendly fans and frisbees went down a treat.”

Stuart Haydon, Portfolio Manager at Mucklow, added: “We are always delighted to support the IAS and the Summer Party was another very well organised and successful event.”
