HAVE you ever wondered what possible use that strange old object you found in the dark corner of granny's attic could have been used for?
Well now's your chance to find out. Bromsgrove Library, in Stratford Road, is hosting four identification sessions, run by experts from the County Museum at Hartlebury, from 2pm to 4pm, today (April 23), and again on April 30, May 7 and May 14, when museum staff will be available to identify all types of curios and objects of interest, and give as much information on the day as possible. They are unable to provide valuations.
A county council spokeswoman said: "The museum staff are looking forward to seeing hundreds of object-bearing local residents at the sessions."

Meanwhile county museum staff are encouraging everyone locally to have a say in what treasures will appear in its new virtual exhibition.
The county council's museum in Hartlebury wants people to choose an item from the collection they would like to see in the virtual exhibition, U-Choose@Hartlebury, within its section on the council's website, www.worcestershire.gov.uk/museum
There is an array of artefacts at the museum ranging from agricultural items, to 19th Century costumes, gypsy caravans to a rare Castle III car.
Residents who are keen to be a part of the virtual exhibition can visit the museum, Tuesday to Friday from 10am until 5pm and at weekends and Bank Holidays from 11am until 5pm, to choose an artefact. Admission to the museum is £4 adults, £2 children and concessions and £10 family ticket (two adults and two children).
