DROITWICH Spa’s weekly summer band concerts are now approaching their third week.

Last Sunday saw the new season continue with The New Washboard Syncopators giving visitors to the park a rich array of jazz and swing music.

With the band concerts now running from 2.30-4.30pm, people can look forward to even more entertainment.

The next two Sundays will see Celebration Reed brass band and St Andrews Pipe Band featuring the St Peters First School choir performing.

People are urged to bring their own seats or sit on the grass and enjoy an afternoon picnic.
