PERSHORE Operatic and Dramatic Society are set to whisk audience members away to the French Riviera in their latest musical show.
The Boy Friend will run at Number 8 Community Arts Centre from Monday, June 8 to Saturday, June 13 at 7.30pm each night.
Sandy Wilson’s The BoyFriend is a frothy mix of high jinks set in Nice in the 1920s, where at Madam Dubonnet’s finishing school the young ladies have only one thing on their minds – to find a boyfriend.
After the challenge of Sondheim at Christmas, the society is letting its hair down in the carefree world of Charleston and Tango, with songs I could be Happy With You, The Riviera and Poor Little Pierrette just some of the songs being performed.
A delicious concoction of costume, dance and the French Riviera is set your feet tapping to the fun and laughter and send visitors home happy and fancy free.
Tickets range from £9-12 and are available at the Number 8 box office on 01386 555488 or on the door, subject to availability.
