FANS of the late John Denver are expected to flock to Worcester's Huntingdon Hall this Friday (June 12) when Ivor George recreates the sounds of the legendary American singer.
John Denver was undoubtedly one of the most popular musicians of modern times and this weekend's show is a one man tribute to this internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter and environmentalist whose masterful songs have become anthems for several generations of fans.
Denver was one of the most popular acoustic artistes of the 1970s in terms of record sales, recording and releasing around 300 songs, of which about half were composed by him, and he was even named Poet Laureate of Colorado in 1977.
The show - Seasons of the Heart - A Tribute to John Denver - starts at 8pm.
