Review - Dinnerladies, Festival Theatre, Malvern.
AS a devoted fan of the television series I was intrigued to see how well this brilliant show would transfer to the stage.
No worries at all. Just as good, if not better as there were no home distractions to prevent enjoyment of Victoria Woods’ brilliantly witty script.
Just two tv regulars were on show, Andrew Dunn and Shobna Gulati, and they and everyone else engineered a superb ‘copy’ of one of the best episodes to be seen on the box building up to Christmas. A most enjoyable experience.
