Kanye West has said he’s sorry to Beck and Bruno Mars, just hours after breaking down in tears in a radio interview.

The incendiary 37-year-old rapper took to Twitter to publicly apologise to 44-year-old musician Beck, who won three trophies at the Grammys earlier this month.

Kanye also said he’s sorry for remarks he made about 29-year-old singer-producer Bruno Mars.

It appeared Kanye was attempting to steal the limelight when he briefly jumped on stage after Beck won album of the year at the 57th annual Grammy Awards. He quickly sat back down but later slammed the recording academy for not honouring Beyonce with the award.

The hip-hop star infamously interrupted Taylor Swift when she won the award for best female video at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009.

Meanwhile, Kanye broke down in tears during an interview with Radio 1′s Zane Lowe.

The rapper was overcome with emotion talking about the British fashion professor Louise Wilson, of Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design in London, who died last year aged 52 after battling breast cancer.

Kanye called his friend and mentor the “greatest fashion instructor of all time” and the “baddest professor of all time”.

Opening up to Zane about the last time he saw Louise before she died, Kanye said: “I think she knew she was gonna pass.”

He then revealed some advice she had given him about getting the best out of his daughter North.

“She just looked at me and said: ‘Kanye, don’t clap’.”

Kanye could then be heard breaking down in tears and Zane asked if he needed a minute.

As he came back on air Kanye said: “That’s never happened to me in an interview before,” admitting talking about Louise was “kinda hard for me”.
