His days used to be spent racing cars and testing out vehicles all over the world on Top Gear, but Richard Hammond has demonstrated just how slowly time passes when he is not working by launching a YouTube channel dedicated to his boredom.
The latest series of the BBC motoring show ended prematurely after Jeremy Clarkson’s attack on one of the show’s producers made headline news and led to him being axed.
Since then, the future of fellow presenters Richard and James May on the show remains uncertain.
Now, Richard has been showing us exactly what he has been doing – or not doing – with all of that free time on his hands on the channel Richard Hammond Is Bored.
He revealed that the project had briefly added a bit of excitment, but that it was short lived.
Richard has been following in the footsteps of his former co-star James, who also debuted his own YouTube channel since Top Gear went on hold called Unemployment Tube.
James’ videos have shown him cooking and playing the recorder.
