The Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge will be dancing to Let It Go from Frozen when she competes for a second shot at glory during the movie-themed Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special.

Frankie, who was runner-up on the popular BBC One show in 2014, will team up with professional dancer Gorka Marquez for the show.

Gorka made his dancing debut in the latest series of the show alongside EastEnders actress Tameka Empson.

Welsh TV presenter Gethin Jones will be dancing a quickstep to music from The Polar Express with newcomer Chloe Hewitt during the festive spectacular.

The 21-year-old, who is the youngest professional dancer on the current series, also found fame in 2013 when she competed in Britain’s Got Talent.

Pamela Stephenson will be paired with Pasha Kovalev for a cha cha cha to music from Love Actually while celebrity chef Ainsley Harriott will do a jive to Rocking Around the Christmas Tree from Home Alone with Karen Clifton.

The first couple kicked out of the current series, radio DJ Melvin Odoom and Janette Manrara, will be reunited for a Charleston inspired by the film Elf.

New father-to-be Anton Du Beke will also take to the dancefloor during the festive special with former Olympian Denise Lewis.

The theme, dances and songs were announced during BBC Two’s It Takes Two.

The one-off episode will see the famous faces competing to become the winners of the Christmas Silver Star trophy.

The show will be presented by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. It will see the judging panel of Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell and Bruno Tonioli return.

This will be Len’s final year on the show after he announced this series will be his last.
