RESIDENTS are being invited to a night of blues, funk and soul.

The event, featuring a double bill of Brothers Groove and Stone Foundation, will be at the Palace Theatre and is to raise vital cash for Macmillian Nurses.

Stone Foundation are a group of seven like minded individuals that team up together to make an exciting blend of soul and jazz influenced music.

They are based in the unlikely setting of rural Warwickshire, holed up in their own studio creating a sensational and dynamic soulful sound that is capturing the hearts and minds of live audiences and influential movers and shakers alike.

Brothers Groove has something that is an extremely rare thing to find in a touring band - they are a band of real brothers, fellow musicians that truly connect both musically and in friendship.

This Birmingham-based band are winning the hearts and minds of the UK blues scene with their characterful groove, superior tones, seriously catchy songs and genuine friendliness, and the word is spreading fast.

The show is on Friday, September 5 at 7.30pm.

The funds raised will go toward Macmillan Nurses, a charity that funds the service of those who specialise in cancer and relaxing care, and providing support and information to people with cancer, and their families, friends and carers, from the point of diagnosis onwards.
