IN a local community group and ever wondered about how to get funding?
Well now is the chance.
A creative arts funding fair has been organised by Redditch MP Karen Lumley who said that it is becoming increasingly aware that Redditch is under-represented in terms of the success of its creative arts groups in securing grant funding.
The event will see a number of grant-giving organisations present, each making a short presentation.
Following the presentations there will be a question and answering session and the chance to have an informal chat over refreshments.
The aim is to put small and independent arts and community groups together with major funding organisations, to help break down the barriers and encourage these organisations to apply for funding where appropriate.
It is hoped that it will help people identify what help might be available to them, and to feel more confident about applying.
The event is on November 14 from 10am at The Southcrest Manor Hotel.
