UP-and-coming Redditch band Shooze have been confirmed as main support for the upcoming Adam Ant tour.
The three-piece ska-punk band will be joining Ant on his UK-wide Dirk Wears White Sox tour throughout April.
This will be the third time the band have joined the 80s legend on tour, previously supporting him under their former moniker New Killer Shoes.
Having undergone a slight tweak to the line-up and a change in musical direction, Shooze are about to embark on a very busy year of live dates.
Members Jon Kings (lead vocals/guitar), Ryan Kings (vocals/bass), and Ricky-Lee Cooper (drums) will also be joined on the Adam Ant tour by fellow Midlander, former Octane OK guitarist, Mikey Rainsford.
The band describe their music as “a hybrid of 70s ska, punk and reggae”which is captured on their latest EP Classified.
Adam Ant said: "Shooze are one of Britain’s best young live bands, destined for great things and it’s a pleasure to have them tour as my guests once again.”
The tour kicked off in Brighton on April 8 and concludes in Northampton on April 25.
