HENNING When (AKA the best German Comedy Ambassador to the United Kingdom) has announced he will be performing at Redditch's Palace Theatre.

After more than a decade in Britain Henning’s assimilation is not yet complete.

He hasn't lost his sense of Westphalian wonderment at the foibles of British society.

Why does everybody want to be owned by a house? What’s wrong with having the Euro?

And why hold society and government responsible for personal underachievement?

He says that people have only got themselves to blame for not being born into a better social class.

A theatre spokesman said: "Expect a crash course in personal accountability and have a right old laugh at the same time. It will be Wunderbar."

Henning’s recent TV and radio appearances include Have I Got News For You, The Road To Rio co-presented with Mark Watson, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Would I Lie To You, Room 101, Newsnight, QI, and is also a team captain on BBC Radio 4's forthcoming six part series "Britain Versus The World".

The show, suitable for 16 plus, is on Thursday, May 14 starting at 7.30pm.

Tickets are available in person or at the box office on 01527 65203 priced £16.75 (£14.75 discount) inclusive of booking fee 75p per ticket up to a maximum £3.
