TALENTED chocolatiers at Cadbury World have created their very own chocolate Santa.

Standing at 3.5ft tall and weighing more than 70kg, the equivalent of 1,555 standard Cadbury Dairy Milk bars, the festive showstopper is made up of Cadbury white chocolate Christmas shapes and finished with gold lustre for a touch of festive sparkle.

With rosy pink cheeks, a signature white beard, boots, gloves and a purple chocolate belt, the intricate creation is based upon the Santa character featured on Cadbury UK Christmas products this year.

Created to help mark the start of the attraction’s Christmas celebration weekends, the Cadbury World Santa will be on display in the popular Chocolate making zone until Christmas, alongside the impressive chocolate city with its winter makeover.

Made entirely on site by three of Cadbury World’s talented chocolatiers, Santa was created in just three days.

Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World, said: “Our chocolatiers always look forward to creating something magical for Christmas, and this year we’re excited to have recreated the man himself. "Our chocolate Santa has definitely helped us all get in the festive spirit, and we hope our visitors will enjoy seeing him here this Christmas.”

Featuring the exclusive Cadbury World pantomime, Sleeping Beauty and the Chuckle Bean Fairy, and the brand new Santa show, Cadbury World’s Christmas Celebration Weekends take place every weekend from from now until Sunday, December 20 (and an extra two days on December 22 and 23).
