VISITORS to the Palace Theatre can enjoy a magical re-telling of a classic tale next month as the Palace Youth Theatre perform Beauty and the Beast.

The group will be performing the Royal Shakespeare Company’s version of the famous fairy tale from July 13 to 15.

There will be three evening performances at 7.30pm each day with a matinee on the Saturday at 2.30pm.

Budding young performers have been rehearsing hard since January to take on and develop the familiar roles of Belle, the Beast, Gaston, LeFou, and Mrs Potts, as well as others.

Liz Tabberer, Youth Theatre and Arts officer, said: “The Palace Youth Theatre have been working extremely hard and would love for as many family, friends and theatre goers as possible to come and see this fantastic show.

"The classic story of Beauty and the Beast is one that can be enjoyed by anyone, whether they are a child being captured by the magic for the first time or an adult indulging in this satisfying tale. Grab your tickets online, by telephone or via the box office today.”

Tickets for the show cost £12 (£10 concession or £35 for a family ticket) inclusive of booking fee £1 per ticket up to a maximum of £4.
