A CLASSIC family pantomime is set to touch down in Redditch this Christmas with stars of the stage and screen leading the line up.

Britain’s Got Talent winner Jai McDowall is sure to charm audiences with his powerhouse vocal talents in a spectacular production of Snow White at the Palace Theatre.

Jai will be play Snow White’s handsome prince, while kids’ TV legend Dave Benson Phillips is set to play the adorable panto funny man Muddles.

Nicole Faraday (Bad Girls and Emmerdale) makes a welcome return this year as the Wicked Queen.

When the Wicked Queen discovers via her magic mirror that her young charge Snow White is the fairest in the land, it’s not long before she is overcome with jealously and is plotting to get rid of her with a one way trip into the depths of the dark forest.

Especially when she discovers that a handsome prince has arrived in the kingdom and is looking for a bride and has fallen head over heels in love with Snow White.

Can Snow White, played by Naomi Slater, escape the clutches of the Wicked Queen, her stepmother?

Will the Prince save the day and ensure a happily ever after ?

A spokesman said: "We can guarantee you that there will be plenty of audience participation, and all the other traditional ingredients you know and love will be there in abundance.

"Stunning costumes, creative choreography, scenery straight from an enchanting fairy tale and a fast paced story line ensure this year’s production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is a truly magical experience."

It runs from December 6 ot 31.
