RESIDENTS are being invited to an afternoon of entertainment and bargain buys as part of this year's Tardebigge Fair and Show.

The popular traditional country fair, on September 9, opens at 1.30pm and can be found in and around St. Bartholomew’s Church and the community hall.

St. Bartholomew’s Church itself houses the produce show competition which anyone can enter (bring entries to the church before 11am).

Outside the church, the fair has dance displays, motorbikes and classic cars - with pony rides and a children’s corner for our younger visitors.

Refreshments of all kinds are available throughout the afternoon, and both amateur and commercial stallholders will be selling a wide variety of crafts, products and bric-à-brac

The fair’s prize draw has top cash prizes totalling £200, while there is also chocolate and bottle tombolas, together with games of skill including skittles, crazy golf and a coconut shy.
