BRITAIN’S very own Twitter all-star is back… James Blunt will be coming to Birmingham on November 21.

The star released his fifth studio album, The Afterlove, earlier this year through Atlantic Records.

The album is the follow-up to Moon Landing, which reached platinum status in the UK and spent 33 weeks in the UK Top 40 after it was released in 2013.

James worked with a wide range of talent when writing and recording The Afterlove including Ed Sheeran, Ryan Tedder, Amy Wadge (Ed Sheeran, Shannon Saunders), and Johnny McDaid (Example, Biffy Clyro).

To support the new album James will be on tour, the first following his extensive Moon Landing Tour, which saw him perform more than 140 shows across the world over the course of 12 months.

The English singer-songwriter and former British Army Officer originally signed to EMI Music Publishing and is currently signed to Custard Records and Atlantic Records.

He rose to fame in 2004 with the release of his debut album Back to Bedlam, achieving worldwide fame with the singles You're Beautiful and Goodbye My Lover.

The album has sold over 11 million copies worldwide, topping the UK Albums Chart and peaking at number two in the US.

You're Beautiful was number one in the UK, the US and a dozen other countries. Back to Bedlam was the best-selling album of the 2000s in the UK.

He has sold over 20 million records worldwide and received several awards, including two Brit Awards—winning Best British Male in 2006—two MTV Video Music Awards and two Ivor Novello Awards, as well as receiving five Grammy Award nominations.

He’s also amassed over 625 million views on YouTube and over 680 millions global streams on streaming platforms.

James Blunt will headline the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham on November 21.
