REDDITCH’S summer street theatre kicks off at the end of July with fun and frolics in the town centre before heading to Winyates in August.
On Friday, July 27, join Angie Mack in the town centre for her high energy hula hoop journey through the ages with everything from a giant 6ft hoop to a multi-hooping human tower.
Angie will be joined in the town centre by Able Mable, a chaotic hapless show girl who is eager to entertain her captive audience but somehow manages to mess up everything she does - with comic results.
Following on from the performances in July, Winyates Shopping Centre will come alive with street theatre on August 10.
Seasoned favourites Bell and Bullock will be returning to Winyates with their show comprising maritime mayhem, magic and mirth.
Providing simple pleasure for all ages, which never fails to delight, will also be Professor Chandler’s Punch and Judy Show.
Redditch Borough Councillor Roger Bennett, responsible for leisure services, said: “If you’re looking for something to keep everyone out of mischief over the summer holidays, look no further than these events."
All events will run from 11am until 3pm and also include children’s activities, face painting, displays and demonstrations, circus skills and more.
