Unique comedy phenomenon comes to the Artrix
8:50am Thursday 19th July 2012 in What's On
BOASTING a unique blend of stand-up comedy, mime, vaudeville and puppetry, The Boy With Tape On His Face is coming to Bromsgrove.
A runaway hit of the Edinburgh Fringe in 2010 and a smash hit sell out when it returned for a limited run in 2011 – the show will be calling in at The Artrix as part of a UK tour.
The show, called More Tape, will feature a gunfight, a battle with Darth Vader and even see John Lennon come back to life.
After appearances at last year’s Royal Variety Performance, BBC Comedy Proms with Tim Minchin at the Royal Albert Hall and on ITV’s Comedy Rocks with Jason Manford it would appear the sky is the
limit for this utterly unique comedy phenomenon.
The brainchild of New Zealand stand-up Sam Wills, the show is on September 6.
