Check receipts
I WOULD like to remind all of your readers to check their receipts from supermarkets. I have often found mistakes and informed the store manager. However, today yet a further mistake was noticed once I arrived home. I had been charged for "mushrooms" when my purchase was supposed to have shown "apples". A difference in prices of around £1.70. These amounts can add up over a period of time.
Surely staff working on the tills can tell the difference between apples and mushrooms, but first they must know what number button to press.
Mistakes never happened in the "good old days" when shop keepers wrote down all items and added them up using their brains!

Whilst visiting ASDA for shopping, we looked at the till receipt, it said 3kg of white, nothing else was mentioned, we checked throughout our shopping and could only find white flour that said 3kg, the price we saw on the shelf was 54p, on the till receipt it sad £123.00.
