Praise for town fostering agency

A LEADING independent fostering agency, which is based in Bromsgrove, has been ranked among the top 100 best companies to work for in the UK.

Foster Care Associates (FCA), with head offices in Stoke Prior, was placed at number 43 in this year's Sunday Times Top 100 Companies for its outstanding workplaces and investment in people, as well as gaining 2008 Best Companies accreditation.

“We believe this is a true indication of the professionalism and positive ethos FCA staff uphold across the organisation.”
FCA chief executive, David Oldham

The national accreditation, which awarded FCA with two star status, scrutinises workplace engagement and sets a benchmark for other companies.

FCA chief executive, David Oldham said: "We believe this is a true indication of the professionalism and positive ethos FCA staff uphold across the organisation."

This year The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For lists have been derived from entries of 868 companies covering small, medium and large organisations. The survey carried out an evaluation of each organisation's statistics, processes and policies. Notably, FCA achieved a top ten positive score of 86 per cent for its team work ethos. The fostering agency has a network of 80 offices across the UK.
