Fell off horse

A WOMAN was taken to hospital after being thrown from a horse in Bromsgrove last Thursday, (May 8).

An ambulance was sent to the incident which happened at about 9am in High Elms Lane, Lower Bentley.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said the woman, believed to be in her 50s, was conscious and breathing when they arrived, and she was treated for head and back injuries.

She was later transferred to the Alexandra Hospital, Redditch, for further treatment.
