Seeking support for centre traders
I READ the letters page each week and I am surprised and annoyed with the attitude of so many about Bromsgrove's High Street.
All I read is that we don't have a good range of shops - it's only mobile phone shops this, card shops that, blah blah blah! When in fact there are a number of quality independent traders that offer a unique and varied selection.
For example Le Savon, Tulletts, Rainscourt, Pier Group and the recently opened new gift shop, Shiny.
Yes, I know there are issues with parking, affordable rent/rates, and the ongoing Market Hall situation, but I am assured that this is being looked at in detail.
In the forthcoming year we are sure to see some changes for the better. So in the meantime we should support our local high street and traders. This will surely save us all money, time and effort in travelling out of town.
