A VALUABLE motorbike parked at a county beauty spot has been seriously vandalised.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to what they describe as 'an incident of criminal damage' on the Clent Hills.
A Harley Davidson motorbike, parked on the car park at Walton Hill, had its lights smashed, seat slashed, tyres punctured, and speedometer and registration plates smashed. The total damage is estimated at around £6,000.
The incident happened between 5pm and 7.45pm on Saturday, May 3, but local police have only just released the details.
PC Mike Roberts, of Hagley Police, said: "Almost every part of the bike was damaged. It was completely trashed.
"While it happened in a remote location, it is a popular walking area and as it was a Bank Holiday weekend I am hoping that someone saw something."
Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact PC Roberts at Hagley Police Station on 08457 444888 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
