Bus visit will help blind people

A FULLY equipped bus packed with resources for visually impaired people will be visiting Bromsgrove next week.

The Worcestershire Association for the Blind has arranged for the bus to visit the county and someone from WAB will be on hand to offer local services for visually impaired people and to assist with local issues.

"This is an opportunity for anyone who is either visually impaired or a professional working in the field to access resources which can enable people to remain independent," said Rhian Thompson, who is WAB's training and rehabilitation manager.

"We will welcome anyone who has a sight impairment issue to come along and view what is on offer" added Rhian.

If people want to know more they can contact Worcestershire Association for the Blind, at The Bradbury Centre, 2 Sansome Walk, Worcester, WR1 1LH or by telephoning 01905 723245.

The bus will be in Bromsgrove on Tuesday, May 20, at Morrisons supermarket car park in Aston Fields from 10 until 4pm.

The bus will also be visiting Kidderminster on Wednesday, May 21, and it will also be in the Webbs car park at Wychbold on Thursday, May 22.
