STAFF and residents at a Bromsgrove care home have been seeing red this week.
Tutnall Hall Care Home, in Tutnall Lane, held an Absolute Red Family Fun Day last Friday, (October 26).
Residents and staff were challenged to wear at least one red item of clothing for the event, which also included entertainment, a raffle, cake, table top and book stalls and refreshments.
The event raised money for a care home fund, which is used to pay for outings and special events organised for Tutnall's residents.
Some of the money raised, which is being counted, is to be used to pay for events being organised for Christmas.
Activities co-ordinator, Gillian Squance, said the residents really embraced the red theme.
She said: “We had some of them sending their friends and families out to purchase red items of clothing for them to wear.
“They were really excited about it.
“Whether it be a t-shirt, a pair of socks or some slippers, everyone joined in.”
