Remembrance Day being marked at Bromsgrove school

A BROMSGROVE school is inviting Lickey End residents to an event marking this year’s Remembrance Day.

On Friday, November 9, Lickey End First School, in School Lane, is holding the event being led by year four youngsters.

Visitors will be served refreshments in the form of rations, the school’s choir will be singing wartime songs and poetry will be read.

The year four pupils' Second World War work will also be showcased.

The event is being held between 10-11.30am.
