TOWNSFOLK are being invited to Dodford’s grand autumn fair at the village hall, which continues to grow in popularity.

The Priory Road-based hall was built in the early 1970s and over the last few years improvements have been carried out to ensure its future.

The hall was extended to provide storage space, and a scheme to replace the roof was completed a year ago.

Funding for these improvements has come from a variety of sources including the parish council, the Big Lottery Fund, Welcome to Our Future, and Veolia Environmental Trust.

Since the improvement work was completed the hall has gone from strengh-to-strength, particularly proving popular for private events.

The autumn fair is held annually and is supported by all the various groups who regularly use the facilities.

It offers a chance for villagers to see what the facility has to offer.

The event is being held at 4pm this Saturday, November 10.

The hall is available for hire by calling Carol on 07966 450430. Alternatively, email enquiries@dodfordvillagehall.com.
