A CELEBRATION of the life of Chris Gower, who tragically died in a collision in Bromsgrove, is to take place.
Mr Gower, 24, who lived in Redditch but grew up in Bromsgrove, died at Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital shortly after being in a collision with a white Ford Transit van on the A448 Bromsgrove Highway on November 3.
The celebration of his life takes place at 12.30pm on November 22 at Redditch Crematorium.
It will then continue at Bromsgrove Cricket, Hockey and Tennis Club in St Godwalds Road, Aston Fields.
Mr Gower was described by his family as popular and fun-loving, and anyone who knew him is welcome to attend.
There will be family flowers only, but donations may be made to the Chris Gower Memorial Fund.
The money will be used to build an adventure playground at the sports club where he spent many happy summers playing as a child.
West Mercia Police are continuing to appeal for anyone with information about the collision to get in touch on 101 quoting 144-s-031112.
