BROMSGROVE MP Sajid Javid has paid a visit to All Saints’ Church to take a proper look at the newly completed refurbishments.
Mr Javid met with the project co-ordinator, church warden Tessa Carrick, who showed him round the renovation work.
The church roof has been repaired, and new stone and mortar have been used to repair the building.
Mr Javid said: “This is a beautiful church and I am glad to see that the restoration works have been successful. I hope that these repair works will allow the church to continue to be the heart of the local community for years to come.
"I would like to thank all of the donors who provided grants for this project and the people of Bromsgrove who put their hands in their pockets to make sure All Saints’ Church underwent these improvements."
