Quiet night for fire service despite heavy rainfall

DESPITE heavy rainfall across parts of the region yesterday, Thursday, November 22), it was a fairly quiet evening for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (HWFRS) in terms of flood-related call-outs.
With many flood warnings still in place and further rain expected tomorrow, the service is repeating its warning for motorists to take extreme care and to heed any road closure or flood warning signs.
