MUSIC lovers are being reminded to snap up tickets for a swinging night of jazz before they sell out.
On Friday, January 25, The Simon Deeley Trio and special guest jazz vibraphonist and raconteur John Sparry will be performing at the Spadesbourne Suite, the Council House in Burcot Lane.
Well-known numbers from George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Jerome Kern, Rodgers and Hart, Duke Ellington and Hoagy Carmichael, will be performed by the trio.
The evening is being organised by Bromsgrove District Council’s civic head Janice Boswell, and consort Ian Boswell.
Money raised is to be donated to the civic head’s chosen charities for her year in office - the Primrose Hospice, Edward’s Trust and the Stroke Association.
The evening, which starts at 8pm, also includes a bar, refreshments and a raffle.
Tickets cost £10.
