Night of live music (From Bromsgrove Advertiser)

RESIDENTS in Bromsgrove are being invited to enjoy a night of live music as well as do something good for a great charity.

The organisers of local festival Wizzafest have arranged a warm up to this year’s festival with all proceeds going toward Macmillan Cancer Support.

The night, featuring the Random Band, Stuart Bishop and Bonnylou, is on Saturday, February 2 at The Grapevine pub on High Street.

There will also be a DJ and raffle with a host of prizes.

Entry for the night, from 9 - midnight is just £2 which includes a free shot on entry.

Last year’s Wizzafest 2012 raised £2,326 for the charity which went toward providing practical, medical and financial support for better cancer care.

The festival will be back this year from July 18 - 22 at Stoke Prior Sports and Country Club.
