A PROUD Bromsgrove youngster has shown he is multi-talented after completing all the possible cub scout badges.
The dream of many cubs, the achievement is all the more impressive as Tristan Gee managed to earn all 52 badges in just two years.
There are so many badges stretched along his left arm that he ran out of space and had to move on to the right.
The badges the 10-year-old Kidderminster Road resident has passed include map reading, DIY, martial arts, cycling, music, IT, swimming and horse riding.
Tristan only just managed to pass them all in time - he completed the last badge he needed at his final ever cubs.
The Parkside Middle School pupil, a member of Romsley Cubs Scout, said the badge he was most proud of gaining was the one for ice skating, as he found it the most difficult.
In his first skating lesson Tristan fell more than 20 times. Through perseverance though, he managed to obtain level three skating, despite only needing a level one to complete the badge.
To recognise his achievement, on Sunday, Tristan received a special neckerchief and was presented with a cub scout silver award.
Proud mum, Kathryn, said: “Tristan has been a cub since he was eight-years-old and it has taken the whole of cubs to complete the badges.
”It is a very difficult thing to achieve, due to the range of badges that are available.”
She added his success had been achieved through sheer determination and hard work.
