A BROMSGROVE pub has raised money for the British Paralympic Association, with an Olympic-themed New Year’s Eve party.
Partygoers at the Wildmoor Oak raised £354 for the association, through raffle ticket sales and personal donations, and local paralympic bronze-medallist Richard White attended the party with his father Bill.
Lorenzo Richards, owner of the Wildmoor Oak, said: “We always choose a theme for our New Years Eve party and the Olympics was a perfect choice as we celebrated the end of 2012.
“People came dressed in gold, silver and bronze coloured outfits and really embraced the Olympic style celebration. Everyone had a great night while raising money for a truly worthwhile cause.”
