A MAN was taken to hospital by air ambulance with serious injuries yesterday afternoon, after an accident with a tractor. 

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews were called to Stoke Heath at around 1.10pm in the afternoon, to reports of a man who had been run over by a tractor.

“The man suffered serious pelvic and leg injuries and received emergency treatment at the scene.

“The man, believed to be in his late 40s, was air lifted to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire major trauma network for further emergency treatment.

“A rapid response vehicle, a land ambulance and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance attended the scene.”
