M5 drainage work on Rubery stretch postponed

DRAINAGE work on the stretch of the M5 near Rubery, which was due to start on Monday, (January 28), has been postponed until next month.
A new date of Monday, February 11, has now been set for the work to begin.
Due to take four weeks to complete, the work is being carried out on the drainage system and to gullies in a section of the hard shoulder.
The Highways Agency will be carrying out the work on the southbound carriageway, between Junction 3 (near Halesowen) and 4 (Lydiate Ash).
Restrictions will be place while the work is underway, including a 24-hour, 50 mph speed limit.
Between Monday and Fridays, two narrow lanes will run from 8pm until 4pm the following day. Three narrow lanes will run between 4-8pm.
Between 8pm on Fridays, until 4pm on Monday, two narrow lanes will be running.
