After the severe weather put paid to the previous week’s event, the spring season of I Will wedding shows finally got underway at Stourport Manor  with nearly 200 budding brides and grooms in attendance.

The stylish Stourport was packed with a host of wedding products and services from cars and cakes to flowers and fireworks, displayed by around 40 exhibitors.

Visitors could also take the opportunity to explore the hotel as a potential wedding venue, as well as enjoying special offers and goody bags and entering the I Will prize draw.

Kim Yarrington, Meetings and Events Co-ordinator at Stourport Manor, was pleased with the day’s success: “We have been working with I Will for several years and this was the best visitor turnout we’ve ever had – I think a lot of couples got engaged over Christmas so it was great to be one of the first shows of 2013.”

She added, “The hotel received lots of enquiries about wedding bookings and we even took some deposits on the day – all in all the show was a big success for everyone involved!”

There are two I Will shows this Sunday, February 3, at St Andrew’s Town Hotel in Droitwich and The Abbey Hotel in Malvern – both packed with exhibitors showcasing all manner of wedding essentials.

Both events run between 11am and 3.30pm, and with plenty of free parking available, you can spend as long as you like browsing the stands. Don’t forget to enter the free prize draw to win the dress of your dreams!

The I Will wedding shows – run by the people behind local newspapers such as The Shuttle, Bromsgrove Advertiser, Redditch Advertiser, Stourbridge News, Halesowen News and Dudley News – bring together an array of services under one roof. This means couples and their families and friends can spend a relaxed and enjoyable day collecting ideas and contacts to help create the perfect wedding.
