PUPILS from various Bromsgrove schools were showing off their dance moves at a special workshop.

The event was held at Finstall First School, in Carnforth Road, in January and led by dance teacher Nathan Ashlie.

It was organised by the Bromsgrove Cluster Gifted and Talented Workshop Project, which aims to increase provision for talented children in the Bromsgrove area.

The latest workshop involved children from Millfields, Meadows, Finstall, Stoke Prior and Dodford first schools, as well as pupils from Bromsgrove Preparatory School.

Gaynor Richards, the cluster’s project co-ordinator, said: "The children worked exceptionally hard and performed a challenging rock and roll routine to their families, at the end of the workshop.

“I was very impressed with the children's determination and talent."

Any schools in the area interested in becoming involved in the project can contact Gaynor, at Finstall First School, on 01527 872938.
