Country park's 10-year plan agreed

A NEW 10-year management plan for an award-winning country park has been agreed.
The programme has been developed by Worcestershire County Council's countryside services sites team as part of their management of the country park using past and current information.
Among the aims of the completed plan are to provide continuity of the management of the site during the programme of works throughout the decade, maximise the site for wildlife and recreation, and a commitment to provide on-site management during this period.
A draft was widely consulted on and useful feedback received, which informed this final version.
Liz Nether, countryside sites team leader, said: "We are delighted that this plan, which shapes the future of this popular country park, is completed.
“It will ensure that the wildlife and open spaces that our visitors love will be there for years to come, and that the site will remain a delightful destination for the whole family."
The new management plan is available for residents to view online at worcestershire.gov.uk/countryside.
