THE snow finally arrived in Worcestershire overnight with schools closures and the possibility flooding may become a problem.
Worcestershire County Council was on standby over the weekend with gritters.
Drivers have also been urged to take their own precautions, including putting anti-freeze in the cooling system, checking the tread and air pressure in tyres and listening to the radio.
The Met office said it would be cloudy and cold today but mostly dry into the evening with light winds with some sleet and snow may return after midnight from the west.
The minimum temperature is -1C. Tomorrow is expected to start and cloudy and dull but should become dry by midday.
There are a number of flood warnings in place and 31 flood alerts in place across the region.
